- How is my understanding of PYP principles and practices evolving?
I have really enjoyed this module, understanding more about student-led inquiry. I think that this is the way that students learn best!
- In what ways can I apply learning from this workshop in my own learning and teaching?
I will ensure that I ask questions and encourage students to ask questions throughout the learning process. This will enable me to adapt planning and enables students to become reflective practionioners.

Agency is supported and nurtured through this workshop by giving the teacher the role of the facilitator.
- How are you using inquiry as a pedagogical approach that encourages students to be responsible for and actively involved in their own learning?
By allowing students to ask their own questions linked to the central idea and transdisciplinary themes and applying their research skills to lead their inquiry-based learning.
- How are you promoting agency by encouraging student choice and decision making?
By giving students choice and allowing decision making they are leading their own learning.
- How are you encouraging your students to act in response to their learning?
Peer assessment, reflections, self-assessment, ongoing questioning.
